    Summer Statement Dress

    I recently posted about the Red Dress Boutique and my luck with finding outfits that are affordable and that I love. Their selection is so amazing and they seem to always have pieces that sell out so fast. I ordered this dress last month and finally had a chance to wear it to a wedding last weekend. The pattern has a fun vibe to it and it is super airy. I am usually the first person to get cold so the long light sleeves were just what I needed to combat the scorching Texas heat and was enough to keep me warm with the evening breeze and later on, in an air-conditioned room.

    This was an easy choice of dress for me. It is a bit more colorful than my usual pick of clothes but I am trying a few new things and exploring more patterns. Definitely gave me all the playful feels and one I will be wearing well into Fall. 

    There is a pretty neck tie at the back of the dress. All around I am happy with this dress and thinking of wearing this next time with a belt, boots, and a different bag.

    Outfit of the Week: Maxi Blue Ruffle Dress

    If you’ve been following me for a while, then it will come as no surprise to you that I love dresses! I am all for dresses that are breezy, have added detailing  and are feminine. So when I came across this dress from Red Dress Boutique, I just had to get it for summer. It is the perfect hue of blue and comes in two other colors; pink and yellow.

    For this week’s outfit of the week, I have chosen this flowy maxi dress with it’s chic one-of-a-kind design with subtle ruffle detailing. The design is fun and pretty blue hue with the option for a neckline self-tie closure. The fabric contains no stretch and is slightly transparent. It is perfect for a warm summer day since it is light and breathable. 

    My accessories are a real mix of luxurious and more affordable pieces. In terms of jewelry I have opted for a custom gold and silver bracelet that I designed. For the other jewelry pieces, I am wearing this link chain necklace by Sezane and an affordable ring and earrings.

    These oversized frame sunglasses are from Amazon! I’ve had them for a while and I’ve gotten a lot of wear out of them that I decided to get it in black as well. This dress compliments any size and you can wear it on a date night, girls night out, or an outing. I think it is perfect for the hot summer days if you want a more modest classic look.
